Fantastic This was a great read if you enjoy Fae romance this is the book for you。 Both lead characters were smart interesting and the female didn’t whine or nag which seems to be popular in many books。 Loved it。

This is not normally what genre that I would read 。 I am very picky about fantasy books。Nevertheless I must say that I am happy that I give it a shot。 Ella Fields made a good just with the world development and also with the characters 。I don’t give 5 stars because some parts were a bit slow IMO 。

Okay。。。okay。。。I honestly don't know what to feel right now and I can't take it。If you have been following my review for awhile then you would know that Ella Fields is seriously one of my top favorite authors of all time。 This past year， she decided to experiment into the fantasy genre。 I started out reading a bunch of fantasy books before I dipped my toe into romance。 After reading her first two fantasy books， I honestly thought I was expecting the expected。Boy was I WRONG！Ella LITERALLY hit a h Okay。。。okay。。。I honestly don't know what to feel right now and I can't take it。If you have been following my review for awhile then you would know that Ella Fields is seriously one of my top favorite authors of all time。 This past year， she decided to experiment into the fantasy genre。 I started out reading a bunch of fantasy books before I dipped my toe into romance。 After reading her first two fantasy books， I honestly thought I was expecting the expected。Boy was I WRONG！Ella LITERALLY hit a home run with this amazing story。It's so good that I can't even give a HINT of what happens because it would ruin the surprises and twists in this story。The Savage and the Swan is a masterpiece。 This is book was inspired by Hades and Persephone， Rumpelstiltskin， and The Swan Princess。 Literally the best folk tales ever。 There is no lack of world building， so the reader can easily follow along with what's going on。 Without giving anything away， we have a chance meeting， unrest between fae kingdoms， and a swoon-worthy romance。 This steamy， enemies-to-lovers romance set within a magical atmosphere where anything is possible， is a WIN！I truly believe Ella has found her calling with the mix of these two genres and I am in love with！ 。。。more

Ella Fields is quickly making a name for herself in this genre。 It’s not my usual cup of tea， but this author will always be a forever must read for me。 Taking a step back and really admiring the writing， is something that is just so breathtaking about this authors style。I loved how dark she went with this-it was literally me sticking my toe into the fantasy pnr genre but by the end I was literally treading water completely and fully invested in the story。 We got an antihero of epic proportions Ella Fields is quickly making a name for herself in this genre。 It’s not my usual cup of tea， but this author will always be a forever must read for me。 Taking a step back and really admiring the writing， is something that is just so breathtaking about this authors style。I loved how dark she went with this-it was literally me sticking my toe into the fantasy pnr genre but by the end I was literally treading water completely and fully invested in the story。 We got an antihero of epic proportions that everyone can appreciate-and a heroine that compliments him so perfectly。An Absolute Must Read from me， and clearly a five star read！ 。。。more
